Welcome to our ‘Happy Home’.

Karingal is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘Happy Home’ or ‘Happy Hut’, and with over 300 Acres of pristine bushland, walking or driving into Karingal can make even the most stressed or us ‘Happy’.

The site is open to Scouting and Non-Scouting groups alike.

Managed by Scouts Queensland Karingal offers a range of outdoors and adventurous activities, with facilities on site to suite those looking for peace and tranquility or action and adventure.

On a weekend Karingal is ‘home’ to a range of regular activity groups such as Laser Skirmish, Obstacle Obsession and Hero’s Odyessy.

Accomodation ranges from bush camping to bunk houses, and can suit groups from 2 to 200.
